I’m Anne Headen, awesome hill walker but pretty rubbish cyclist, oh and a small business owner.
I currently run a market stall at the iconic Shambles Market in York, UK, where I trade on Tuesday and Saturday. You’ll find me with a variety of dressmaking fabrics and craft fabrics, haberdashery and handmade gifts.
Dressmaking, crafting and fabrics are in my blood; my mum taught me to sew when I was a young child and I haven’t stopped. I’ve tried numerous crafts over the years from dressmaking, knitting (not so hot!), cross stitching, machine embroidery, patchwork and crafting.
I love all fabrics, especially gorgeous prints and different kinds of dressmaking fabrics that are now available. I plan to bring you unusual dressmaking fabrics from garment manufacturers and suppliers that you may not find on the high street, along with the every day essentials of cotton, linen and gingham.

I love what I do and that’s why every order placed will be packaged with love!
